Architectural Concept of Terekhovo Metro Station
В основе этого конкурсного проекта станции метро лежит прием цветовой навигации. Двум южным входам на станцию мы придали тёплые цвета - красный и желтый, двум северным - холодные: синий и зелёный. Каждый цвет встречает пассажиров на улице у входа на станцию и провожает их до поезда. В местах встречи цвета образуют градиенты. Цвета использованы в навесах над входами на станцию, а далее - на стенах подземных переходов, входных вестибюлей и платформ.
Другой образ, который был задействован в проекте - образ архипелага. В функциональном отношении Мневниковскую пойму следует считать не просто островом, но группой разобщённых островов. По этой территории разбросаны фабрики, свалки, рынки, и, наконец, последняя на территории Москвы деревня, Терехово. «Острова» разделены участками не слишком дружелюбной, заброшенной земли. Они ничего не хотят знать друг о друге.
После запланированной городом реорганизации территории она должна стать содружеством островов, архипелагом, где есть место и политике, и природе, и спорту, и жилью.
Знак архипелага стал стилеобразующим символом и эмблемой станции. Этот мотив повторяют светильники, расположенные как во всех помещениях станции, так и во входном козырьке. Вместе с тем, символ этот многозначный. Его также можно трактовать как схематическое изображение ледохода на Москве-реке - «лед тронулся»...
The basis of this competition design of a subway station is a motiv of color navigation. The two southern entrances to the station were given warm colors - red and yellow, the two northern ones - cold: blue and green. Each color greets passengers on the street at the entrance to the station and escorts them to the train. When the colors meet, they form gradients. The colors are used on canopies over the entrances to the station, and then - on the walls of the underground passages, entrance lobbies and platforms.
Another image, which has been involved in the project is the image of an archipelago. The Mnevniki floodplain is the island, but functionally it must be considered as a group of disparate islands. Abandoned factories, landfills, markets, and, finally, the last village on the territory of Moscow, Terehovo are scattered across the area. Unfriendly, abandoned lands separated these «islands». They do not want to know about each other.
After the reorganization of the area, that is planned by the city authorities, it should become a commonwealth of «islands», the Archipelago, where there place for politics, nature, sports, and housing.
Sign of the Archipelago became a style-forming symbol and emblem of the station. This motif is repeated in lamps, designed for all areas of the station and for the entrance canopy. At the same time, this symbol is polysemantic. It can also be interpreted as a schematic representation of an ice drift on the Moscow River - the ice was broken ...
